Gaurav Bisht

Born in Uttarakhand and educated in Lucknow and Dehradun, I have been drawn to poetry and literature since my school days, thanks to a creative home environment filled with poetry and thoughtful discussions.

I was always inclined towards the performing arts, especially acting. In between, I completed an engineering degree and graduated as an Electronics Engineer. But acting never left me, and I continued writing and performing my own plays. I began doing theatre alongside my job and eventually moved to Mumbai.

Over the years, I have learned from amazing teachers and participated in thought-provoking workshops, whose methods and practices have shaped me as both an actor and an individual. Today, I practise my own process and continue to research and explore the craft with fellow artists throughout my journey.

I have worked on a number of films, web series and short films. I am currently writing my own script while seeking meaningful acting opportunities and collaborations with inspiring directors.
