Submit a script

This is a free, open space for writers to share their scripts with the ASA community. There is no cost and no vetting — your work appears on the Resources page immediately after you submit it.

What to submit

Upload your script as a PDF. Add a short description so readers know what the piece is. Keep it brief — one or two sentences is plenty. It is a quick summary, not a synopsis.

How to submit

Complete the form below. Select the tags that apply — Format, Genre, Cast Size and Cast Gender — so your script can be found through the filters. Tick the copyright confirmation, then submit.

Your rights and ours

You must own the rights to any script you submit. ASA does not vet or endorse submitted work and may remove any submission at its discretion. Please read the disclaimer below before submitting.

Title page

Every script must include a title page showing the play title, the writer's name, the writer's contact details and a copyright notice.

Removing your script

You can have your script removed at any time. Contact ASA if for any reason you need it taken off the site. This is a volunteer-run site, and we will attend to your request as soon as possible.

Submission disclaimer

By submitting your script, you confirm that you have the legal right to share it and that you accept full responsibility for its content.

Views, opinions, language, themes and characters expressed in submitted works are those of the author and do not represent the views of this website or its operators.

Scripts may contain mature, controversial, offensive, discriminatory, political, religious or otherwise challenging material. We do not endorse or verify submitted content and reserve the right to refuse, unpublish or remove any submission at our sole discretion, without notice.

ASA is not a literary agent or representative of the artists who register their work or profile on these pages. ASA holds no responsibility for any outcomes arising from posting your script.

By submitting, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this website, its owners and administrators from any claims, disputes, damages or liabilities arising from your submission, including claims relating to copyright, defamation or other legal rights.
